Our Story

Thunariso Organic Garden is a registered company that began as a backyard initiative in 2018. Thunariso empowers community youth, the unemployed, women and men by equipping them with the skills to start and sustain their own gardens.

The name "Thunariso" is a heartfelt acronym derived from the names of our children: Thu from Thuso (our firstborn son), Na from Naledi (our daughter), and Riso from Thoriso (our youngest son), symbolizing the family roots that inspired our journey.
